When a child is having meltdowns or frequent explosions, it can be challenging for everyone.

Collectively, we have worked with children, families, and teachers for over 20 years, helping children and parents develop and implement skills and strategies they need to be successful. We use evidence-based strategies such as Collaborative and Proactive Solutions in our work.

Coaching Supports

We provide coaching to parents and families. Coaching is not therapy. This means that, instead of working individually with your child, we will work with you as parents, and then with you and your child as a family to everyone develop and use skills to get along better.

Coaching will start with one or more meetings between you and one of us (your coach) so that we can understand your challenges and set goals for our work together.

Next, we will help you learn a collaborative and proactive way of working with your child to solve problems.

The next step is to actually USE these skills with your child. At this point, we will begin meeting with you and your child together and help you use these skills in real situations that you are struggling with.

Coaching will continue until you are able to implement collaborative and proactive strategies successfully with your child and you feel that your concerns and worries about your child have been addressed.
